They have combined their previous experience in working and managing individuals in the commercial and care sectors with their experience in staff development, training and quality assurance, to provide the ultimate support to their service users and register of care workers.
David Lincoln > Managing Director, previously had a highly successful career in Senior Marketing Management, gaining recognition for his skills in business development, staff management and training, before taking a change in direction and moving into the care profession. David´s excellent interpersonal skills enable him to communicate effectively at all levels, commanding both trust and respect from his staff andwork colleagues. His leadership and business planning skills combined with his success in working with multi disciplinary teams brings a wealth of business and people management experience and high operational standards in a regulated environment to Guardian Homecare (Newcastle).
Diane Malone > Branch Care Manager, has worked as a nurse for 12 years, in a variety of positions ranging from Midwife Practitioner to Staff Nurse in a Burns Unit, Senior Staff Nurse responsible for health screening and promotion and Child Care Development Manager in a Secure Training Centre.
Diane has also worked in and managed Care homes looking after the needs of nursing, residential and EMI service users and has excellent recruitment, supervision, assessment and training skills, which have enabled her to build and lead teams of care workers and assist them in their personal development. Diane´s varied career has gained her great respect from other healthcare professionals, resulting in her taking a lead in the setting up of a healthcare training and assessment centre for youths living within a secure unit. She currently assists Bishop Auckland College as a Distance Learning Tutor in Infection Control and Care Practices. Diane has practical experience of working with older persons, children and adults with a wide variety of needs and impairments and is adept at empathising with those in need of care and support. She has worked in the community, residential and hospital settings and is a qualified NVQ Assessor and Staff Trainer.
